Alexandra McGroarty
Chief Human Resources OfficerAlexandra McGroarty is a seasoned Human Resources leader and published author with deep expertise in talent strategy and organizational transformation. Prior to AVPSEES, she founded her own consulting firm where she spent five years serving as Interim CHRO and Sr. Advisor to domestic and global clients- including private equity, nonprofits, and public sector organizations- to deliver high-impact solutions across the employee lifecycle, HR project management, change leadership, and leadership coaching. Alex has previously spent time in HR leadership roles at Clarivate, JP Morgan Chase and DaVita. Alex holds multiple professional credentials including Certified Diversity Professional (CDP), Certified Professional Coach (CPC), and the People Analytics Specialty Credential (SHRM-PASC), as well as a Graduate Certificate in Corporate Sustainability from Cornell University. Her work blends strategic systems thinking with a passion for inclusive people strategies and sustainable organizational cultures.
Alex is also the author of Bridging the Gap: Reducing Gender Bias in the Workplace, where she draws on her global HR experience and research to help organizations cultivate equity and inclusive practices. Her leadership has been recognized with awards such as Ragan’s Women in HR Executive Coach of the Year and NAWBO South Jersey Women Business Owner of the Year. She holds a BA in Communication Studies from Rowan University, a Masters of Science in Healthcare Administration from Utica University and is currently pursuing additional advanced degrees. Outside of her professional achievements, Alex is committed to community engagement, coaching, and empowering diverse talent to thrive in today’s evolving workplace.
