Physician Partner

Dr. Gross is a Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, where he also earned his medical degree and was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha. He completed his Ophthalmology residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City and a Glaucoma fellowship at Harvard’s Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary.

He serves as a Physician Partner with Atlantic Vision Partners and with over 10,000 cataract and glaucoma surgeries performed, Dr. Gross is one of the most experienced surgeons in Eastern Virginia. He offers advanced treatments including LenSx laser-assisted cataract surgery, Micro Invasive Glaucoma Surgery (MIGS), and the latest lens implant technologies.

Dr. Gross actively teaches at Eastern Virginia Medical School and has twice been named Ophthalmology Attending of the Year. He also presents research at national conferences and treats a wide range of conditions including diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, dry eye, and more.
