For more than four decades, Shenandoah LASIK & Cataract Center has been known by his patients and colleagues for offering quality eye care throughout Northern Shenandoah Valley. Since 1979 Shenandoah LASIK & Cataract Center has established himself as a skilled eye surgeon, performing over 1200 major surgical cases each year. Ten years later, in 1996, when the FDA first approved the use of the excimer laser to correct visual problems using the technique known as PRK, Shenandoah LASIK & Cataract Center underwent training to learn the procedure and became part of the first group of doctors in the country to receive certification to perform laser vision correction, and also became the first eye clinic in the Winchester area to perform this surgery. George Agritellis, MD, FAAO, is a board-certified ophthalmologist with more than 20 years of experience in cataract surgery and glaucoma management. He has served as a physician partner, practice owner, and medical director, leading clinical teams and performing thousands of successful procedures. Dr. Agritellis has over two decades as a physician partner, practice owner, and medical director, and has performed thousands of successful cataract procedures. He has contributed to medical research and advancements in ophthalmology and is committed to patient education, clear communication, and personalized treatment plans.

Eye Associates of Winchester, Inc. was founded by W. Reynolds Legge, Jr., M.D. in July 1963. Nancy B. Eisele, M.D. joined Dr. Legge in July 1988 at the office on Amherst Street. Eye Associates expanded in April of 2002 and moved to their new building on Plaza Drive. In the summer of 2003, Lori S. Snyder, M.D. joined Eye Associates after receiving her fellowship in Corneal Diseases from Johns Hopkins University. Dr. McLaughlin joined the practice in 2015. Dr. Eisele now operates at her state-of-the-art Eye Surgery Center, designed and built in 2007 exclusively for eye surgery. They joined AVP in 2022 and look forward to serving the community for years to come.
